Endocrinology / Traumatic Brain Injury
David Socol, MD
Dr. Socol graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1995 and spent nearly 20 years in a medical capacity at Boeing Corporation. His work increasingly focused on mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), leading to further training in interventional endocrinology and genomics. In 2016, he founded Socol MD, emphasizing functional genomics to enhance outcomes in patients with mTBI, neurodegenerative conditions (including dementia, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis), autism, and Trisomy 21. His clinical approach has evolved to include lipid therapies such as plasmalogens. Dr. Socol has delivered numerous lectures, secured funding for a specialized mTBI genomic panel, and filed provisional patents with the USPTO in 2024.
